Orange Sports Hubs

Bridging the Netherlands and International Sports Industry!

To better support Dutch sports-related companies in doing business abroad and engaging with local stakeholders, Orange Sports Forum (OSF) launched the Orange Sports Hub initiative in 2024. This initiative is developed in close collaboration with OSF members and trusted local partners.

The first hubs have been successfully established in Lausanne (Switzerland) and Barcelona (Spain)—two key cities for international sport and innovation.

The hubs provide Dutch companies with valuable opportunities to build strong local networks and explore concrete solutions together with regional partners. Several locations also offer shared office spaces, access to workshops, and a dedicated local contact person to support participating companies on the ground.

About the Hub:

Empowering Dutch Sports Organizations with International Ambitions

Orange Sports Forum (OSF) supports Dutch sports companies and institutions in expanding internationally by working closely with local partners and a dedicated group of OSF members within each hub. From these hubs, OSF initiates, coordinates, and supports various incoming and outgoing (sports) trade missions to connect Dutch expertise with international opportunities.

Building a Local Sports Network and Community

At the core of OSF’s mission is fostering international cooperation in sports. A strong and connected network—both nationally and internationally—is essential. To strengthen these ties, OSF organizes networking events and knowledge-sharing sessions for companies, sports associations, and government bodies. Each Orange Sports Hub plays a key role in building local ecosystems and linking them to the broader Dutch sports network.

Showcasing the Unique Strengths of the Dutch Sports Sector

The hubs also serve to promote Dutch sports-related organizations abroad. Rather than focusing on sporting achievements, OSF emphasizes the Netherlands’ strengths in sports innovation, vitality, and expertise. Through the hubs, OSF helps raise international awareness and enhance the global positioning of the Dutch sports sector.
