Through trade missions, events, and international projects, OSF supports Dutch organizations in expanding their global footprint and creating impact in sport and vitality.

The Role

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Event & Communication Manager to support our team on a part-time basis (±4 hours per week). This role is ideal for a student, young professional, or freelance entrepreneur with an interest in sports, international business, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Event Support

  • Assist in organizing (international) events, trade missions, and networking sessions
  • Coordinate logistics, invitations, and stakeholder communication
  • Support follow-up and reporting of events

Marketing & Communication

  • Manage and update the OSF website
  • Create and distribute newsletters
  • Support content creation for LinkedIn and other channels
  • Manage and optimize the OSF mobile app
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns and visibility of OSF projects

General Support

  • Help strengthen OSF’s international positioning and communication
  • Support ongoing projects and initiatives where needed

Examples of Projects & Activities

You will contribute to a variety of international and high-impact initiatives, such as:

  • International trade missions (e.g. USA, Middle East, Europe)
  • Orange Sports Hubs (e.g. Spain, Cape Town, Switzerland, Australia, China): supporting local activation and communication
  • CEO events & networking sessions with leaders from the sports industry
  • Incoming delegations & fact-finding missions
  • Thematic events around innovation topics such as AI in sport, sustainability, and fan engagement

Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Proactive, independent, and well-organized
  • Interested in sports, international business, and networking
  • Strong in communication (Dutch and English)
  • Digitally skilled (website WordPress, newsletters, social media)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Available on a flexible basis (±4 hours/week)
